Trying to find your dream Dallas-Fort Worth wedding venue? Well, perhaps it’s time to stop looking because The Mason is one of the premiere wedding venues in the area. I’ve photographed this venue many times, and let me tell you, it really is something special. From the historic architecture to their one-event-per-day policy, you can’t go wrong with hosting your wedding at The Mason. But don’t take my word for it, check out the top 4 reasons to have your big day at The Mason below.

The Mason Venue Engagement Session Dallas

Historic Architecture

The Mason is Southern charm personified. Built in 1920, the space, which was previously known as the Oak Cliff Masonic Lodge, was designed by renowned architect Herbert M. Greene. It was used as a meeting space for roughly 80 years, before it was renovated and transformed into one of the most elegant wedding venues in Dallas-Fort Worth. Now, The Mason offers 10,000 square feet of event space, with several lounge-style spaces, as well as the popular ballroom. The Mason’s ballroom is truly a sight to behold, featuring tiered crystal chandeliers, period artwork, Roman-style columns, and a massive stone hearth that provides the ultimate ceremony backdrop. The Mason can accommodate weddings of up to 200 people.

Generous Wedding Packages

Having visited wedding venues all over Dallas-Fort Worth, I can say that The Mason offers some pretty generous wedding packages. For example, their rental packages include use of both stories of the venue for the entire duration of the wedding. They also include valet parking for up to 70 cars, an on-site event manager to ensure the day runs smoothly, and a friendly door concierge to greet and direct guests. Further, The Mason also provides tables and chairs for your event, and lets couples work with whatever other vendors they wish. Lastly, there is an on-site dressing room that couples and their wedding parties are welcome to use (they also make for great pre-wedding photoshoot locations).

One-Event-Per-Day Policy

I am always here for a wedding venue with a one-event-per-day policy, and The Mason is just that. This exclusive policy ensures that couples won’t be rushed on the day of, because theirs is the only event being hosted at The Mason for the entire day. It also ensures each wedding gets the attention it deserves.

Vintage Yet Modern Feel

Lastly, as a photographer, I can’t get enough of The Mason’s vintage yet modern feel. This Dallas wedding venue perfectly blends the two. Blank white walls, high ceilings, and plenty of natural light are offered in their reception and ceremony spaces, while their smaller lounge spaces and suites are made up of a whole range of funky vintage furniture and decor. This provides plenty of options for wedding photos.
