Luxury meets Southern hospitality at the Omni Barton Creek Resort and Spa. This is one of my favorite wedding venues in Austin, and as you keep reading, you’ll understand why. From the rustic Rock House to the open-air pavilion with endless views of Hill Country, discover why you should tie the knot at the Omni Barton Creek Resort and Spa in Austin.

The Rock House

Reason #1 to get married at the Omni Barton Creek Resort and Spa in Austin? The Rock House. This event space is one of several available at the resort. It is the more rustic option offered by the venue, yet still luxurious. Nestled along a creek just off the 18th green of the Fazio Canyons Golf Course, this venue offers a romantic outdoor setting that is to die for. Exchange vows beneath string lights and old oak trees before enjoying a sit-down dinner on the front lawn.

The Hill Country Pavilion

Reason #2 to tie the knot at this Austin wedding venue? The Hill Country Pavilion. This is another event space available at the Omni Barton Creek Resort and Spa, and it is one of my favorites. This expansive space is over 5,000 square feet and features floor-to-ceiling windows that look out on Texas Hill Country. It is perfect for receptions, and even has an observation deck and access to two sweeping lawns. Plus, the floor-to-ceiling windows open up for a plein air feel. Ultimately, I love the versatility that the Omni Barton Creek offers. You can have a rustic creekside ceremony at The Rock House and then move onto a luxe indoor/outdoor reception courtesy of the Hill Country Pavilion. It’s the best of both worlds!

On-Site Activities

Personally, I love a resort that doubles as a wedding venue because, if enough guests choose to stay there with you, it can feel like a destination wedding without the hassle of traveling far. That intimate, party atmosphere is what you get at the Omni Barton Creek Resort and Spa in Austin. When couples host their wedding there, they also have the option of staying there, along with their guests. It’s ideal if you’re looking to get married and honeymoon in the same location. Plus, this Austin wedding venue has plenty of on-site activities for you and your guests to enjoy pre or post-wedding. Award-winning golf, spa treatments, culinary adventures, and several heated pools open year-round (including an adults only infinity pool) are just a few of the perks. We bet you’ll be convinced to stay a few days longer and enjoy all that this Texas Hill Country resort has to offer.

There you have it – a few of the things I love about the Omni Barton Creek Resort and a few things we think all engaged couples will love about it too.
