I want to see a whole world of different color-soaked skies with you. – unknown

This engagement session was held at Murrell park, with beautiful trails tucked away in suburbia and a shore that is varied and interesting for exploring and enjoying the sunset.

This was my first time being here and the park was definitely huge! It practically went on for miles and miles. Despite the massive size of the park, I was able to find a pretty rocky area that did not look like Dallas at all. It was alongside the lake, a very rocky area and had sand.

The couple, Thelma and Manny were going for more of a dramatic, sunset and rocky look.

We started our session about 4pm right as the sun was moving towards its setting.

Thelma and Manny were definitely in their natural element as the scene, the beautiful sunset backdrop just made everything look so ethereal and romantic. You can see the changes in the sunset amongst the images.

One of my favorite things is having couples dress formally for engagement settings and this worked perfectly for a more nature filled setting.

All the spots I picked for the shots were just perfect for the setting and that feel of a Dallas engagement session.
