Mimi and Meddy, a stunning couple, tied the knot on 5th May 2021 on a rainy day at a beautiful white-themed venue - Hillside Estate. It was a luxury wedding venue that gives a personal touch to the most fabulous wedding, and it provides a white glove affair throughout. The wedding was planned by Dallas flower wall rental. There were around 120 guests. The service, management, decorations, quality of food, lighting, everything was outstanding. It was the perfect extravaganza.

At 8:00 am, the bride and bridal party started with their preparations; simultaneously, the coordinator arrived to do a dry run at Hillside Estate, the florists and the gaffers from the Tillyzevents started decorating the venue with flowers and draping, and uplighting was done by the Unique Dallas. Lick, the videographer, further arrived. Till that time, the groom and groomsmen had arrived, the wedding party lunch and refreshments, champagne drinks and mini trays from Kroger were set up by the coordinator.

Our team started with our photoshoot as the bride and groom, and the bridesmaids and groomsmen changed into their traditional robes called ‘Umushanana.’ It is a traditional ceremonial dress of Uganda Burundi and Rwanda. They had their photographs taken inside the bridal room and outdoor in the garden as well. They had a detailed photoshoot inside the bridal chamber, making the beginning of the bridal party. The groomsmen wore their traditional black robes, and the bridesmaids wore light pink silk robes.

The traditional photoshoot for both parties was wrapped up by noon, and lunch refreshments were served, including shawarma bites and water. The entire decor was completed too till then. Furthermore, the bride and the groom were finally robed and touched up for their official wedding photos on the scent. We took pictures of the first look with the bride and groom, both inside and outside. Marquee letter by Maxiletras Roberto arrived, and the bridal party and groomsmen were also fully dressed till then. The photoshoot ended at around midafternoon. In the meantime, Vestal’s catering from Jourdan and the DJ, Max, arrived, setting up for the reception. Also, the Sparks and smoke machine by Steve came and finally, the cake was also delivered and set up by Chelsey Lujain. The coordinator did the final walkthrough of the ceremony to make sure everything has been done accordingly. Bridal party pictures commenced and went on for a while. After getting done with the photos, the guests started arriving for happy hour the cocktail hour, while the servers served finger food. The harpist, Cindy Horstman, also made entry by then. The officiant then came, and the guests were seated for the ceremony. The groom entered while a beautiful song was played, marking the start of the ceremony. Subsequently, the bridal party also arrived. Next in line were the flower girl and the ring bearer, followed by the bride, and then the ceremony officially started.

The guests were asked to be seated by the MC for the bride’s grand entrance. The wedding celebrations, festivities, and dances, along with dinner, went on for the whole evening. The dance floor was set up by the Inkredible Dance Floor. I immensely enjoyed taking pictures at this exquisite venue - Hillside Estate, where we chose many classical locations. One of my favorite moments to capture was when the bride and groom cut the beautiful 5 tier cake.

Overall the wedding day was full of fun, cheers, laughter, and pleasure for all the guests. Starting from the beautiful golden cutlery to the paper towels, everything went accordingly with the theme.

We wish Mimi and Meddy a life filled with nothing but bliss and happiness.
