On a pleasant day, Geryn and Arapecia got married at a beauteous venue – The Dallas Arboretum. The venue’s set was perfect; however, it had to be moved slightly due to rain, but the beauteous garden.

The Dallas Arboretum is one of my most favourite attractions around Dallas. From the greenery to the beautifully decorated blooms, everything harmonized with the pictures ideally. The delightful weather was a cherry on top, providing a very fresh look for the most perfect wedding pictures.

The bride looked as glamorous as she could be. Her make-up was done by Glam by Cham, Nia cosmetics and Amirah Boojie beauty make-up, and the hair was done by TJ and TrapdaSlayer. She wore an alluring white dress hand-picked from Wona Bridal, and the groom wore a striking white tuxedo, with a purple Flower as a brooch and a teal-coloured bow tie from the rental service The Black Tux. The bridesmaids robed in teal-coloured silk gowns provided a personal touch to the overall theme.

The wedding planner, Tammy Loving, did a marvellous job. The theme was chosen according to the garden. The arch ring had baby pink roses to complement and bride’s and groom’s white attire. The rest of the bouquets were purple and green, matching the theme exceptionally. The florist, events by Faiza, did a fantastic job in decorating this mesmerizing location with the most beautiful and fresh flowers.

The ceremony started with the exchanging of vows which was a beautiful moment to capture. Another favourite moment to capture was when the bride and groom engaged in a sand blending ceremony, a tradition I liked, and it looked beautiful in pictures. Something that touched my heart was how they dedicated a whole table to the loved ones they had lost, keeping a framed photograph with a flower bouquet next to them so they could remember them on this extraordinary occasion.

After some more pictures, the ceremony was shifted inside the hall for the reception. The setting inside the venue – The Dallas Arboretum was purple, golden, and silver-themed, with good lighting giving the entrance a spectacular look. There was a cake-cutting ceremony. There were two stunning cakes delivered by the Creatias bakery: a 4 tier white rose fondant cake, and the other was their traditional omega psi phi purple and white cake. Afterwards, we did a couple’s photoshoot with the cake and their guests, following the traditional bouquet toss. We love taking pictures of these rarely memorable traditions. This way, the families could also watch and cherish later on.

The wedding celebrations, festivities, and dancing went on for the entire evening. DJ Jazmine Lofton, also known as DJ 4.0, kept everyone entertained and engaged for the whole evening by his great song choices.

I won’t be exaggerating if I say that everything, starting from the gold-rimmed chairs to the tableware and candles placed on every table, delivered an exquisite look in the Dallas Arboretum

Altogether, Aparecio and Geryn’s wedding seemed like a perfect fairytale wedding. I hope every day in the rest of their lives is as beautiful as this one.
