For many people, having their destination wedding in Cancun has been a dream for longer than they’ve been in a relationship with their soulmates. The Royalton Riviera Cancun is a new generation all-inclusive resort that gives a family-friendly vacation experience. At this resort, your guests are given the best entertainment offerings from morning to night.

If you plan to have your destination wedding in Cancun, there are a few different things that you need to think about – including who your guests will be. If you are looking for a family-friendly resort where kids can play, the Royalton Riviera has plenty of options for those people. In fact, many of the amenities fall into the family-friendly part of the resort. Even so, there is an adult’s only side where people can escape to have a quiet, romantic trip.

Royalton Riviera Cancun For Your Cancun Destination Wedding

The perfect destination awaits you at the Royalton Riviera Cancun. Whether you are looking for luxurious amenities, natural beauty (the beaches are gorgeous albeit the coral can be challenging to navigate), delicious foods, and first-class care. Your guests are taking time out of their lives and want to be treated as well – make sure you give it to them. Party all you want – it only gets better with live shows and foam pool parties featuring fantastic entertainment.

As for your destination wedding in Cancun, the resort has plenty of sunset backdrops and the outdoor chapel is an unbelievable sanctuary designed just for your special ceremony. Beaches can bring anything and everything, so  I personally would avoid the beach ceremony or reception. It may sound strange, because you wanted to do a destination wedding, but the beach doesn’t work for all families and wedding guests. The Royalton Riviera Cancun location has a few venues perfect for weddings, one being their outdoor chapel. If you are looking to have your Cancun destination wedding in early spring, late fall or winter, there is no better place.

Destination Wedding In Cancun Photographers

Rae is one of our associate photographers. We ventured to The Royalton Riviera Cancun resort for her and Ben’s 10-year vow renewal. The ceremony was held in the outdoor chapel followed by a beach reception. The menu was amazing and he also had a beachfront cigar rolling station – so cool. I truly enjoyed the entire weekend. The weather? The temperature was pretty warm, as it was July. At night, the breeze from the beach made it pretty comfortable to be outside.

As a destination wedding photographer, I keep most of my gear on me as a carry-on. This reduces theft and luggage loss; I also keep a close watch on the gear through inspection. I recommend renting equipment to test before purchasing. You can rent from my favorite Aperture. I also buy good quality used equipment from KEH.

The Nikon D750 is high key amazing in low light for outdoor weddings… It focuses really well in low light.  The Profoto A1 is a high end speed-light that works great on and off camera. It has a model light function that means it can be used for continuous light. My favorite lenses are the Sigma Art 50mm 1.4.and the 85mm 1.4 sigma art, both are amazing in low light, giving shots full of drama, and focus faster than you can say cheese! Not the lightest gear in the world but the best.

Having a destination wedding in Cancun is one of the most memorable experiences that a couple can have – and with good reason. With natural beauty, luxurious amenities, and experience in handling weddings of all sizes and scopes, the Royalton Riviera Cancun is a fantastic option.
