One of my favorite event spaces in all of Houston is the Corinthian. This indoor wedding venue is a total dream come true, making any bride feel like a Disney princess the moment they step through its doors. With its Roman columns, grand staircase, and crystal chandeliers, it is the height of luxury. Keep reading to discover a few reasons why you should host your wedding at Corinthian Houston.

As Glamorous As It Gets
Corinthian Houston is pretty much as glamorous as it gets when it comes to Houston event venues. If you want to feel like the belle of the ball on your big day, this might be your dream venue. Corinthian features a Grand Hall lined with 20 Roman-style columns, oversized crystal chandeliers suspended from the ceiling, and a magical aisle that spans 125 feet. There’s also a sweeping staircase, an upper mezzanine that overlooks the Grand Hall, and several luxurious getting-ready suites. This Houston wedding venue was built in 1905 and designed in the Neoclassical style, making it a true architectural jewel within the city.

Perfect for Big Wedding
Corinthian Houston’s massive event space can accommodate up to 500 guests for a ceremony and up to 1,500 guests (yes, you read that right!) for a sit-down reception. So if you’re a Texas couple looking to have an affair for the ages, you can rest easy knowing Corinthian will be able to accommodate you and all of your guests.

Convenient Location
Beyond the stunning interior of the Corinthian, this Houston wedding venue is located next to the city’s Theatre District. This makes it a fun and convenient location for both locals and out of town guests. Plus, it provides your guests with an opportunity to explore the surrounding area by foot in between the ceremony and cocktail hour.

Its Versatility
I like to think of the Corinthian Houston as a blank canvas of sorts. Sure, it’s filled with gorgeous architecture and unique design details, but for the most part, the Grand Hall is white (from the columns to the walls). This means that it can easily be transformed to fit the colour scheme of your choice. I’ve seen black & white weddings here, gold weddings here, and even brightly-coloured weddings. It’s completely up to the couple! Plus, owing to the sheer size of the Corinthian Houston, the Grand Hall can be used as both a ceremony and reception space. This eliminates the hassle of trying to find a separate venue for one or the other.

If you’re thinking of tying the knot at the Corinthian in Houston, I promise you won’t be disappointed with this magnificent space. And if you need a wedding photographer or cinematographer on your big day, we’d love to hear from you! Lavishly Lux is proud to capture weddings all over Texas.
