The Most Luxurious Wedding Venues in the United States

The United States is home to some of the most luxurious wedding venues in the entire world. Whether you happen to live in one of the cities below or are planning a destination wedding out of state, I hope this list provides a major dose of wedding inspiration! Check out my list of the most luxurious venues in the U.S.

Chateau Cocomar – Houston, Texas

Chateau Cocomar is one of my favorite wedding venues in the entire country. This European-style mansion is located in Houston, Texas and is surrounded by lush manicured gardens. Chateau Cocomar has plenty of gorgeous outdoor spots for photos, as well as the Salle de Valencay ballroom, with its French ceiling moldings and golden chandeliers. Overall, this Houston event space is the definition of old world elegance.

The Olana – Dallas, Texas

You may have heard of The Olana by its previous name, Champ D’Or. This Dallas, Texas mansion is situated on a 40-acre estate that consists of indoor and outdoor pools and a private tennis court. This lavish venue is suitable for weddings of up to 275 people and has two terraces that are perfect for outdoor ceremonies. When it comes to the reception, you’ll love the Solarium or Tea Room, the latter of which was modeled after New York’s Tavern on the Green.

Oheka Castle – Huntington, New York

A historic hotel and castle in Long Island, New York (which also happened to serve as the setting for Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space” music video) is hands down one of the most beautiful, lavish wedding venues in the United States. The castle dates back to 1919, giving off major Gatsby vibes. The Chateau-style estate boasts formal gardens with fountains and reflecting pools, as well as elegantly-decorated rooms.

The Grove – Cedar Grove, New Jersey

Fairytale glamour is what you’ll find at The Grove. This Cedar Grove, New Jersey event space provides a stunning backdrop for your big day, comprising four different venue options. Say “I do” in the open air on The Grove’s garden grounds and patio, or opt for something more rustic in the restored 18th century farmhouse. For larger, more lavish affairs, The Grand Ballroom or The Regency Room are for you.

Old Edwards Inn and Spa – Highlands, North Carolina

It doesn’t get any more rustic and romantic than North Carolina’s Old Edwards Inn and Spa. In the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains lies this picturesque property. Exchange vows with the mysterious highlands as your backdrop and hold your reception under a luxury all-weather tent, or opt for an indoor wedding in the chalet-style hall with elegant decor and floor to ceiling windows.

The US Grant Hotel – San Diego, California

Couples have a whopping 21 venues to choose from when tying the knot at The US Grant. This San Diego hotel has a total of four ballrooms, each giving off a distinct yet undeniably 1920s vibe. Each setting is as sophisticated as the last, with spaces to suit every size and style of wedding. Custom wedding packages are available that allow you to have a say in everything from the dance floor and linens to the menu, chairs, and entertainment.

Montage Laguna Beach – Laguna Beach, California

Saying “I do” overlooking the Pacific Ocean? Yes, please! Montage Laguna Beach is one of SoCal’s most luxurious wedding venues. It has a lavish ballroom for larger weddings, as well as a huge beachfront lawn overlooking the ocean that can be used as both a ceremony and reception space. Imagine spending your big day surrounded by swaying palm trees, crashing waves, and the setting sun. Pure paradise.
