Sweet Dallas Arboretum Elopement

Mary contacted us in December to photograph her Christmas Eve elopement at the Dallas Arboretum. Mary was a widow for many years and was so excited about getting married again.     Dallas-Arboretum-Elopement (7 of 15)Dallas-Arboretum-Elopement (8 of 15)Dallas-Arboretum-Elopement (9 of 15)Dallas-Arboretum-Elopement (10 of 15) Mary chose the Poetry Garden for their ceremony and included their children and beautiful granddaughter. The décor included navy and green suits and Christmas inspired boutineers and bouquet served as décor.Dallas-Arboretum-Elopement (2 of 15)Dallas-Arboretum-Elopement (12 of 15)Dallas-Arboretum-Elopement (13 of 15)Dallas-Arboretum-Elopement (14 of 15)The Poetry Garden of the Women’s Garden at the Arboretum. Phase 1 of this 1.8-acre formal garden was designed in 1997 by landscape architect Morgan Wheelock. A Woman’s Garden is comprised of several smaller outdoor garden “rooms” including the Pecan Parterre and the Poetry Garden which features a sunken garden of roses. The Arboretum is a great place to elope and for a wedding.
